from Readers
"My Dad volunteered for the Army Air Corp, was ultimately shot down and spent eleven months in a hospital far from home. Just like Ms. Whittaker’s characters, it was my parents' unwavering faith and trust in God that sustained them."
"Cece Whittaker is a wonderful story teller! "

Indivisible Hearts-A Heartwarming Christmas Read!
I have read all three of this author's stories and enjoyed all three. Just love all of the characters and the continuation of their stories. Very well written and cannot wait for book four, with maybe a few weddings.

A refreshingly sentimental and wholesome study of friendships
and how they fortify the rigors of the effects of a country at war.
Cece’s Christian inspiration makes
[this] just that much more
reminiscent of the era
& the strength of the
women ‘left behind’.

Cece's fourth book in the Serve Series "Angels in the Rough" continues with the World War II women who lived stateside and worried about their husbands, fiance', and boyfriends. The Author made these women come alive for me, I felt part of their lives. When they spoke of sugar rations I recalled my mom during this same period having friends and family gathering sugar rations for her wedding cake. I loved them! I hated to close this book but I plan to read them all again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Saving Treasures is a wonderful read!
Reviewed May 20, 2021
Cece Whittaker’s Book 9 in “The Serve Series,” SAVING TREASURES, was a wonderful read! The plot was filled with unexpected twists and turns that impact the four best girlfriends that Ms. Whittaker has developed in her series.
There are several new characters that are introduced, adding more drama and danger to the storyline. The author cleverly uses something as simple as the beloved Helen bending over to tie her shoe that ultimately saves her from certain death. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Sister Mary Joseph solves the mystery of Bruno Formaggi’s lost treasure, shattering this reader’s preconceived notion of what would be found!
Perhaps I enjoy Ms. Whittaker’s books because she is a true “word-smith.” She paints vivid pictures with her written words and draws this reader into her stories of faith, hope, and love! [K. Kraft Amazon Review]
